Angela Griffin, Chief Program Officer
Angela provides strategic leadership for Treehouse’s services for young people experiencing foster care throughout Washington state. Under her guidance, the organization partners with youth in foster care to unlock their potential, graduate from high school and pave a path to achieve their goals for the future. She is a former school board director and serves on several committees as an advocate for better educational outcomes. She is also a passionate leader for racial equity and inclusion efforts in partnership with education and social service organizations. Her 25-plus year background includes the development, management and growth of early learning, childcare, youth development and young adult service programs in the nonprofit sector. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and a Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum Development.
Dawn Rains, Chief Policy & Strategy Officer
Dawn leads policy, advocacy and long-term strategy for Treehouse. She has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit management, fund development and legislative advocacy.
Dawn holds a Master of Public Administration and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Washington. She also is a former foster parent.
Juli Farris, former Board Chair
Juli Farris’ clients count on her commitment to excellence to meet their legal needs. Juli is a member of Keller Rohrback’s nationally-recognized Complex Litigation Group and serves as Supervising Partner of the firm’s Santa Barbara office. Her current cases include serving as co-lead counsel representing victims of the 2015 Refugio California Oil Spill and representing patients affected by prescription drug overcharges. She is also part of the team pursuing claims to hold drug manufacturers accountable for the current opioid health crisis.
In addition to her work on environmental torts, consumer protection and whistleblower litigation, Juli has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in class action litigation involving banking and securities regulation, antitrust, ERISA fraud and other areas.
Before she joined Keller Rohrback in 1991, Juli served as a judicial law clerk for Judge E. Grady Jolly of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and she practiced law at the Washington, D.C. office of Sidley Austin, where her practice involved trial and appellate litigation covering a wide array of subject matters.
